At Ralph’s Radio, we strive to offer our clients the latest and greatest products in our industry. Vehicles and technology are constantly changing, and our products must keep up. We are excited to tell you about a new software called Android Auto that comes with many of our head units.
This software works with any Android phone running 5.0 or higher.
To have access to Android Auto, you’ll need a head unit that is compatible with the software. Luckily, Ralph’s Radio has a great selection for you to choose from that will set you up well. Many of these head units even have add-on options if you’d like to incorporate additional upgrades, such as a backup camera.
Many of us use our vehicles several times a day and couldn’t imagine our lives without them. If you spend that much time in your vehicle, wouldn’t it be convenient to be able to continue using your smartphone? That’s exactly what Android Auto allows you to do – and it’s all done in a safe fashion. Android Auto was designed for you to be able to take the apps and functions from your phone on the road.
With this great software, you’ll be able to use many of the apps on your phone while you drive. All of the interaction occurs through voice-control so that your hands stay on the wheel and your eyes stay on the road. Safety will always remain a priority!
Android Auto goes way beyond phone calls. You can make a phone call simply by saying “Call Marie Smith” and just like that, you’re talking with your friend. Beyond that, you also can send text messages and have them read to you when received. The Maps app will give you voice-guided turn-by-turn directions. You can even set reminders while driving to alert you later in the day. You’ll also gain the use of apps such as Pandora, Spotify, iHeart Radio and Skype. Streaming music has never been easier!
If you drive a car and have an Android smartphone, Android Auto was made for you. The easy-to-use technology will change your life the first time you use it. You’ll notice yourself forgetting things less often, arriving at your destinations on time and enjoying your car rides even more.
